Breeders Club FAQs
What are my payment options?
We accept Mastercard & Visa. The transaction happens on a secure hosted payment gateway, meaning your payment details remain securely encrypted so we do not see them at our end. We cannot take orders over the phone or by email.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is FREE for Nutrience orders that total 15kgs or more, sent direct to your door, including rural delivery, anywhere in New Zealand. That 15kgs can be made up of any combination of Nutrience dry food (eg: 3 x 5kg bags = free shipping). For smaller food orders under 15kgs total, or for hardware orders without food, shipping is a flat rate of $10 for delivery nationwide, including rural addresses.
How long do orders take to arrive?
Most orders arrive within 2 to 4 working days, although rural deliveries can take a day or 2 longer depending on your local driver. At some times of year (like the lead up to Christmas and early January) deliveries can take a little longer.
The day & time of day you order also makes a difference. Weekend orders are packed on Mondays (or the next working day in the case of a public holiday). Orders placed in the morning are usually packed and on the courier the same day. Afternoon and evening orders are packed asap, but may not be collected from us till the next working day.
How do I trace my order?
If it's been more than 4 working days since you ordered, you're welcome to call or email us and we’ll run a track and trace on your order. Depending on the size of your order and where it’s going, it will usually be shipped with either Toll Freight.
Can my orders be sent to multiple addresses?
One address is permitted per order only please. Orders cannot be shipped to multiple addresses. Please do not order on behalf of anyone else. Club membership and pricing is for your own use only. Orders can be shipped to the member's address only.
Can you sponsor my dog / cat show?
Maybe! We love supporting the shows our members attend and would love the opportunity to sponsor more shows. What’s better than getting the same food you’d normally buy, for free! Please encourage your show organiser to email us and - budget allowing - hopefully Nutrience and Petware will be sponsoring your next show.

What makes all-lifestage formula ok to feed during growth and to adults?
An all-lifestage formula is complete and balanced for any life stage, meaning you can feed it to pets of any age. All-lifestage formulas tend to be different from food formulated only for adult pets (called a maintenance formula). Although individual formulas do vary of course, all-lifestage formulas tend to be higher in protein, calories and certain minerals than maintenance-only formulas, making them suitable for feeding both during growth and to adults.
That means if your adult pet is generally active and stays a healthy weight on an all-lifestage food, you’re good to go. However, when feeding an all-lifestage food, the higher caloric density simply means you’ll need to feed less if you notice your pet gains weight, which is recommended for overweight pets anyway no matter what food you feed.
All-lifestage formulas also have different levels of calcium, omega 3 and other ingredients to meet a puppy or kitten’s requirements both during growth and when they are adults. You can check the ingredients list, the guaranteed analysis, and the AAFCO statement on the bag or on the food’s website to check and compare individual formulas.
When choosing a food for your puppy or kitten, check what the AAFCO statement says on the bag or the food’s website. If the food’s AAFCO statement says it has been formulated for all lifestages you can be sure it meets the more stringent nutritional requirements for growth and reproduction, as well as for adult maintenance. If it says it is formulated for maintenance, then it may not meet the requirements for growth, so either an all lifestage formula, or a puppy or kitten formula, is recommended.
